學校歷史History
台灣聖經與語言學院（Taiwan Bible & Language Institute) 或者 (TBLI）是一所致力於教導聖經、耶穌基督的使命與事工的新學校，同時也提供多種語言的培訓，裝備學生投入東北台灣及更廣泛跨文化宣教所需的語言能力。Taiwan Bible & Language Institute (TBLI) is a new school dedicated to teaching the Bible, the mission, and the ministry of Jesus Christ. It also offers instruction in various languages needed for cross-cultural missions in northeast Taiwan and beyond.
雖然 TBLI 於 2023 年 9 月正式成立，但其異象早在二十多年前就已萌芽。當時，理查德與潔西．羅伯茲（Richard and Jessie Roberts）在美國就讀一所相似的宣教訓練學校，在那裡他們深刻體會到系統性聖經訓練與基督使命的重要性，也在信心中經歷生命的更新，學習完全倚靠神，成就自己無法完成的事。Although TBLI officially began in September 2023, its vision was formed more than twenty years earlier when Richard and Jessie Roberts were enrolled in a similar mission school in the United States. There, they discovered the value of systematic training in Scripture and the mission of Christ, and they experienced the joy of a deepened faith—learning to trust God to accomplish what they could not do on their own.
羅伯茲夫婦於 2003 年 12 月自南卡羅來納州瓦爾哈拉（Walhalla, South Carolina）的信心訓練中心（Faith Training Center）畢業，並於 2004 年 3 月 24 日抵達台灣。經過二十年在新北市以及後來在東北台灣服事主的歷程，他們清楚感受到神的呼召，要將過去所領受的裝備、經驗與異象整合起來，創立台灣聖經與語言學院。The Roberts graduated from Faith Training Center in Walhalla, South Carolina, in December 2003 and arrived in Taiwan on March 24, 2004. After twenty years of serving the Lord in New Taipei City and later in northeast Taiwan, they sensed God calling them to bring together their training, experience, and vision to establish Taiwan Bible & Language Institute.

台灣聖經與語言學院（Taiwan Bible & Language Institute）致力於培訓蒙神呼召、願意事奉耶穌基督的人，裝備他們投入各類基督徒事工，特別是在東北台灣及更廣泛地區，建立、帶領並持續牧養今日與未來的教會。Taiwan Bible & Language Institute trains those called to serve Jesus in all kinds of Christian ministries but especially in planting, leading and sustaining both tomorrow’s and today’s churches in northeast Taiwan and beyond.
三大核心目標與策略
Three Primary Goals & Strategies
目標一——教育、訓練並裝備蒙召的人，去建立、維繫並帶領基督教事工。Goal One - To educate, train, and equip those who are called to start, sustain, and lead Christian ministries.
目標一的策略——課堂教學與實際操練直接在東北台灣的禾場中進行。TBLI 的學生扎根於聖經、歷史性的信經、信仰告白，以及教會歷史。透過系統性的課堂學習，學生在對神的認識上不斷成長，好使他們能將神介紹給東北台灣超過十萬名的居民。Goal One Strategy - Classroom instruction and hands-on training take place directly in the harvest fields of northeast Taiwan. TBLI students are grounded in Scripture, the historic creeds, the confessions of the faith, and the history of the Church. Through classroom study, students grow in their knowledge of God so that they may make Him known to the more than 100,000 residents of northeast Taiwan.
學生深入研讀聖經的歷史與文化背景，學習如何在本地文化中忠實且有效地傳達聖經真理。他們被挑戰去發展各樣的基督教事工，其中有些未來可能成為教會。同時，學生也在既有的教會中服事，承擔帶領短期專案與長期事工的責任。在整個訓練過程中，學生學習禱告、講道、教導並帶領敬拜。Students study the context of Scripture in order to communicate its truths faithfully and effectively within the local culture. They are challenged to launch a variety of Christian ministries, some of which may eventually become churches. Students also serve in existing churches, where they take responsibility for leading both short-term projects and long-term programs. Throughout their training, students pray, preach, teach, and lead worship.
目標二——鼓勵並支持在東北台灣及其他地區開展新的基督教事工。Goal Two - To encourage and support the launch of new Christian ministries in northeast Taiwan and beyond.
目標二的策略——在東北台灣，有許多小村落沒有教會、小組、兒童事工或青少年團契；事實上，對耶穌基督的認識幾乎是空白。因此，建立多元且全新的事工不僅迫切，而且需求極其龐大。TBLI 一方面專注於裝備工人以回應東北台灣的需要；同時，其課程設計與實務訓練也放眼全球，預備學生能在世界任何地方投入事奉。Goal Two Strategy - There many small villages in northeastern Taiwan without churches, small groups, children ministries and youth groups. In fact, there is little to no knowledge of Jesus Christ. The need for multiple startup ministries is both urgent and immense. While TBLI has a strong focus on training ministers to meet the need in northeastern Taiwan, its curriculum and practical training are designed, as well, to prepare students for ministry anywhere in the world.
目標三——將我們所有的一切交在耶穌手中，信靠祂翻轉一個地區、改變一個國家。Goal Three - To place everything we have into the hands of Jesus, trusting Him to transform regions and change nations.
目標三的策略——事奉的一個根本原則記載於馬可福音 6:30–44，也就是五餅二魚的故事。在這段經文中，耶穌吩咐門徒去餵飽一大群人，而這群人的數量遠遠超過他們手中僅有的糧食。門徒立刻對自己的能力感到懷疑。於是耶穌問他們：「你們有多少餅？去看看。」當他們發現只有五個餅和兩條魚時，便將這一點點交到耶穌手中。耶穌接過這微小的奉獻，行了神蹟，使其倍增，不僅餵飽了眾人，還有許多剩餘。Goal Three Strategy - A foundational principle of ministry is found in Mark 6:30–44, the story of the five loaves and two fish. In this account, Jesus tells His disciples to feed a crowd far larger than their available provisions, and they immediately express doubt in their ability to do so. Jesus then asks, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” When they discover they have only five loaves and two fish, they bring them to Jesus. He takes their small offering, multiplies it miraculously, and provides enough to feed the multitude—with much left over.
從一開始，TBLI 就教導學生以同樣的原則來事奉。傳道人單靠自己，永遠沒有足夠的資源來完成神的呼召；但當他們選擇信靠耶穌，祂就能使用那看似微不足道的一切，使之成為充足，甚至滿溢。正是這樣的信心，能夠翻轉一個地區，並改變一個國家。From the very beginning, TBLI students are taught to live by this same principle. Ministers never have enough resources to accomplish their calling on their own. But when they trust Jesus, He takes what little they have and makes it sufficient—and even abundant. It is this kind of faith that transforms regions and changes nations
